Velocette MSS Scrambler 500. Price reduced again, photos added.
This bike is fully authenticated by Velocette UK as built in 1954 and shipped to Branch Motors in Houston Texas. It was fitted with all the MSS Scrambler performance major items, Alfin Barrel, BTH TT magneto, Amal TT carby and 6 stud rear hub all of which are still on the bike.
Completely original with engine, gearbox and frame all corresponding to the original despatch record details. Velocette UK hinted this was a “Special” one off bike which could have been sent to USA for evaluation purposes for the Catalina GP which was in fact won by a Velocette in 1954 and 1955.
The bike has been treated to an oily rag restoration but fitted with new exhaust, fork stanchions, rear shocks, cables and levers
