Busselton, Western Australia
6th to 13th November 2022

Thank you for your Expression of Interest and rally deposit.

For those who have sent in their Expression of Interest and paid the deposit, attached is your Rally Entry Form.     Please fill in the details, calculate the total entry fee and return your form, along with payment, by no later than 26th August 2022.

The rally entry fee covers your accommodation, evening meal and rally activities, your deposit has been factored into the entry fee.

Should you need to cancel your booking, a limited refund is available if this cancellation is done after 1st September.    We will do our best, but have financial commitments we have to make to the accommodation and catering companies.

For those people who are attending the rally on their own, you can choose to share, or not share, a room.

Please note: there is a limited number of non-share rooms available.      If you choose a non-share room, there is an additional cost of $65 per night.

So to keep your costs down, it makes sense to share a room.     If you have a preference as to who you are happy to share a room with, please let us know.     Otherwise, we will allocate rooms for you.

The theme for the Annual Dinner on the final evening of the rally (Saturday 12th November) is “A Night Of Nautical Nonsense” with prizes for the best-dressed seafarer.     So keep that in mind when packing your bags, or you can simply wander down to the beach nearby and grab some seaweed to strategically drape over yourself.     (Almost) anything goes !

Situated on beautiful Geographe Bay, close to all the attractions the south west of our state has to offer, with great riding roads and scenery all around and conveniently located near town with all amenities you could possibly want nearby, we think our beachside rally headquarters will make your trip here to the rally a truly enjoyable one.

Accomodation will be fully self contained and situated in a lovely parkland setting. Bikes can be kept at your doorstep, trailers will have an allocated area to be stored during the rally along with an area for containers. Dinners will be a short stroll along the beach away each evening and there are bottleshops and grocery stores within easy walking distance.

The famous Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the southern hemisphere at 1,841 metres long. The Jetty is managed by a not-for-profit community organisation, Busselton Jetty Inc.

The jetty’s construction commenced in 1864 and the first section was opened in 1865. Book the jetty train on the free day or on the Saturday morning to enjoy the ride out to the underwater viewing centre at the end.

Some states are already organising containers to ship machines over to the site (which will have a designated area for you to use), we do this every year and it is far and away the most cost-effective way of taking part in the rally.
There are also direct flights once a week from Melbourne to Busselton Airport.
