New bushings for Rita Mac after 60 miles. Lots of bronze swarf in the oil and the sleeve gear bush has coated the mainshaft. Not sure if this is normal break in or the Torco 20/50 is playing up. Bushings are Grove stock replacements. ... See MoreSee Less
The monobloc on my Venom has developed an intermittent tendency to pour out fuel from the tickler when the fuel is turned on. Suspecting the float needle I pulled it off to have a look, but the needle looks fine. However further fiddling revealed that the float can catch on the screw boss at the bottom of the float chamber such that it sticks down. There is what appears to be a small witness mark on the bottom of the float. My first thought is to relieve the boss sufficient to stop it catching but before I do has anyone else had this happen, or am I missing something? ... See MoreSee Less
