" What is a Spark Plug? "
I work closely with Nick Payton, and he said we ( Nick and I ) must spend as much time as we can on teaching others how to work on their own bikes - all the little things that are not clear in the manuals as well as all the repairs that are not covered in any manual.
When I get asked about a starting or run-ability problem, and I ask if they have changed the spark plug, or ask what plug they are running and get asked " What is a Spark Plug " - I know it is time -
Most newer owners are from an age where shop classes were not offered in school, that covered the basics, and most British bike shops are now long closed - that we - the ones that have been in the sport all of our lives need all to become 'teachers' -
